Demand the Right Skills for the Repair & Maintenance of Traditional Buildings

02 June 2010, ConstructionSkills, English Heritage and the National Heritage Training Group (NHTG) with other sector partners are organising a briefing session in each region in England on the expertise and skills required for the Repair and Maintenance of Traditional Buildings. These FREE events are aimed at professionals who deal with the pre-1919 building stock and how the need for client demand for skills and how the right expertise in the repair & maintenance project from building professionals to contractors/craftspeople is essential to quality of work.

These events will also cover the qualifications and evidence of competency that contribute to consistency, health & safety, reduced risks of damage and produce more efficient and effective quality management and by having the right skills in place improves and maintains standards in the sector.

The sessions will last for no more than 2 hours and will include:
