Employers
Training can give your workforce new skills or develop existing ones to keep your business competitive.
Your workforce will be more dedicated, skilled, and loyal which could help your business grow.
The care and maintenance of historic buildings requires craftspeople with specialist skills and knowledge. The NHTG are committed to ensuring that construction work carried out on historic buildings is carried out by suitably skilled individuals.
Our built heritage is a limited resource that requires care and regular maintenance for it to survive. If we fail to raise awareness of these skills and do not train workers in the materials and techniques needed then we run the risk of losing these essential practical skills across the UK.
