Teaching & Training Support
The NHTG is supporting the development of a suite of teaching and learning resources to facilitate the development of training provision relating to the built heritage sector across the UK.
Training Support DVD
A pilot DVD on structural timber with text-based material following the Heritage Skills NVQ Level 3 syllabus and embedded film footage of conservation and repair techniques will be completed in 2007. This will be available within colleges for trainers and trainees alike. Further DVDs on other specialist trades and Built Heritage skills are planned.
Historic Scotland Teaching Fellowships
Provides experienced practitioners in Scotland with the opportunity to further develop their experience in a particular area and develop their teaching skills
