National Heritage Training Academy (South West)
Founded as The Cotswolds Heritage Academy in 2006 with support from ConstructionSkills and The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment, the National Heritage Training Academy South West was the first heritage skills training academy to be established in the UK.
NHTA (SW) represent a strong regional partnership of colleges, universities, employers and heritage organisations all dedicated to providing a sustainable solution to the skills needs of the heritage sector, and particularly to providing progression and accreditation to the next generation of craftsmen and craftswomen, presently in desperately short supply. Recent partners to join the academy are The National Trust, Stone Federation and Wiltshire College. For our full list of partners see the NHTA (SW) website. NHTA (SW) has made a confident start to its mission and we look forward to keeping you up to date with our developments as they happen.
