Low Cost Heritage Training Across Yorkshire and the Humber
21 May 2010, Founding National Heritage Training Academy partners have successfully bid to deliver a range of heritage training courses in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Craven College Centre for Construction and Heritage Skills has successfully won a tender to provide subsidised training and qualifications in heritage across Yorkshire and the Humber on behalf of the National Heritage Training Academy.
Courses will be available in the following areas:
• Short courses specialising in heritage
• NVQs in Heritage
• Level 2 qualifications specialising in heritage
• Dry Stone Walling
• Master Classes in Conservation
The training aims to fill identified skill gaps and enhance current skills within the heritage and construction sector. The majority of courses will be delivered by Craven College, the remainder by National Heritage Training Academy founding partners York College and the University of York.
